Care about sustainability in your Eiber neighborhood? Get involved!

The Eiber Neighborhood is part of the City of Lakewood’s Sustainable Neighborhoods Program, which gives residents the opportunity to become active partners in making Lakewood a vibrant and sustainable community. Sustainable Eiber gets help from City staff to organize workshops, projects and events that enhance the livability of our neighborhood and reduce residents' ecological footprint. The best part? Residents generate their own project ideas! Each year we strive for city designation as an “Outstanding Sustainable Neighborhood,” which our Eiber neighborhood has received every year since 2013.

The Sustainable Eiber team is a group of volunteers from our neighborhood who meet regularly and organize sustainability-focused projects and initiatives. Our mission is to connect neighbors in their efforts to make the 'Eiberhood' a more sustainable and resilient place to live. Anyone is welcome, and all events are free to attend.
