Join Your Eiber Neighborhood Association!

Are you interested in happenings and issues in our Eiber neighborhood? Are there neighborhood opportunities or issues you care about? Would you like to be part of the conversation about Eiber’s past, present, and future? Have you ever attended an Annual Eiber Meeting?

Since 2000, Eiber has had its own registered neighborhood association, led by volunteers from the neighborhood. Over these last 25 years, the association has brought Eiber residents together around topics ranging from RTD’s W line, to development and growth, and much more.

It’s time to look to the next 25 years, and you, as an Eiber resident, are important to that process - because after all, a neighborhood association is formed based on the needs and desires of its residents.

Here are a few things you can do to join in the conversation and help define our Eiber Neighborhood Association going forward:

  1. Join the Eiber Neighborhood email list

  2. Join our NextDoor Eiber Neighborhood Association Group

  3. Learn more about the Eiber Neighborhood’s rich history!

2024 Annual Meeting a Success!

Thank you to everyone who came to the 2024 Annual Meeting! It started with a meet and greet, followed by the best entertainment EVER! The Eiber Elementary Soaring Eagles choir belted out "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and two other songs, complete with hearty shouts, leighs, and waving of colorful scarves.

Among the guests were Mayor Strom, Councilmembers Glenda Sinks and Sophia Mayott-Guerrero, Lakewood Police & CAT team, West Metro Fire, RecoveryWorks, Sustainable Eiber, Action Center, and Lakewood Planning Department. Thanks to all of our presenters for providing valuable updates for our neighborhood.

Candidates for the 2024 Board of Directors were elected - if you want to join our board, it's not too late! We advocate on behalf of the community for neighborhood improvements, promote and host neighborhood events, and work with City Council and Planning Department to create and maintain a safe, enjoyable environment in which to live, work and play.
